JPHein is owned, operated, and staffed by Jeffrey and Shawna Hein--Nevada County locals, twins, and computer junkies. Shawna holds a BA in Computer Science from Oberlin College and a Masters in Information Management and Systems from the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley. Jeffrey has been working on computers professionally for nearly a decade and is excited to share his knowledge of open-source software and affordable hosting options with an ever-expanding network of local businesses, non-profits, and individuals. Remote and onsite Ubuntu™ Linux™ server administration.  Long-term maintenance contracts are available and recommended. This includes on-site installation, replacement and repair.  Remote software installation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades. We service servers on-site in Nevada City and Grass Valley.  Our off-site, remote services are avaliable worldwide. The maintenance rate shall be $80/hour. Long-term contracts will be negotiated.
